Because anything worth doing is hard.

Well, another week is ahead of us. Hopefully you guys get a chance and get together for these. I'm trying to keep you all outdoors as much as I can since the weather is nice and we have that privilege. Besides, fitness comes in very handy outdoors. Indoors entails too much comfort, and we don't like freebees.

This week's UNCOACHED workouts:

1.
For time:
Run 100m, 20 Burpees
Run 200m, 15 Burpees
Run 300m, 10 Burpees
Run 400m, 5 Burpees

Recover

Hang/Swing on Pullup Bar for
5 min

2.
I suggest doing this workout on Friday, if you can.

For time:
400m Walking Lunge

*Every step, the trailing knee MUST KISS THE GROUND. If it doesn't, then you didn't do a lunge, you merely took a step. Walk back and FIX IT!
Again, 400 meters is ONE lap around the track at Drake stadium.

  2. Forgot to time this (!) but Leigh and I did the workout yesterday. We tried hanging on the pullup bar but our dainty little hands couldn't take it. Did 25 dips on the bench, plank for a minute, and some standing box jumps instead.

  6. I can't walk down stairs today.

  7. It's Monday and my legs are still sore from Friday's lunges.

    461m for 22 mins.

  8. If pain is weakness leaving the body, then I am no longer weak; because I am in so much pain from those bloody 400m walking lunges!

  9. Hahahahaha.. Too funny! Perhaps humor is the best way to deal with pain after all. And I might just have to rename that workout to "death march", or maybe "lap of tears".

    Good Job all!
