Here's a couple workouts for you to do on your own this week. Please do these!
1.
Tabata Whatever:
20sec ON:10sec OFF x 8 rounds
Choose 3 different “things” to tabata.
(Pushups, situps, mtn climbers, burpees,squats, broadjumps, etc., get creative)
Record lowest reps for each one.
2.
100 Squats
5 Bruin-Walk Hill repeats Catch your breath between each SPRINT.

ReplyDeleteMargaret, you can actually set up the rower to time the interval for you. You have to play with the options. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to get a little extra gassed-out a few times a week.
ReplyDeleteLeigh and I warmed up with a Tabata on the rowing machine, followed by sit-up and pushup tabatas, followed by 20 box jumps (Leigh) and 20 squats (me), followed by a couple of assisted pull-ups. Thanks, Russ!
ReplyDeleteI did pushups, squats, and flutter kicks for my tabata. The lowest count for my pushups was 8, squats was 16, and flutter kicks..I have no idea because I forgot to count! I warmed up with a morning run.

Had it on the laptop at home with the volume all the way up. don't think I would have done it without the voice of the british gentleman telling me when to start and stop. did 10 pushup, 15 situps and 10 mountain climbers. PS: don't do mountain climbers barefoot on the living room rug, can cause blisters!
