LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION

Ok, so not sure if this is just a preworkout ritual some people have, but we need to stop asking where the workouts will be held, daily. We have new staff all over the building that may not be versed on things yet and it will add to the already mounting confusion between all the BHIP stuff happening. Elisa and I are coordinating things and even our circuits are getting scrambled.

So, one last time:

The BHIP MAINTENANCE (you guys) will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays at the TRACK at the same times as before, UNLESS OTHERWISE POSTED.

So please DO NOT ask the Fitwell desk anymore as they will probably look at you funny and bite you in addition to misdirecting you (as instructed by me).

Thanks

  1. That vodka drink looks amazing. Could be especially appealing after a workout like yesterday's (!)

Interesting stuff here. Hope your newbies get good nutrition info early on!

  2. Here's a marksdailyapple WOW that Leigh and I aimed for yesterday.

    Complete 5 RFT:

    10 Dips
    7 Pullups
    10 Handstand Pushups
    10 Inverted Rows

We did fine on the dips and pullups (machine at the gym), did regular pushups, but couldn't find a place to do inverted rows at the gym, so we did flutter kicks instead. We just needed a low-ish bar. Any thoughts?

  3. Awesome, Margaret! Yes, we are definitely deploying a lot of nutrition stuff early on. Any favorite reads?

Inverted rows can be done in the squat rack or the smith machine (squat rack where the bar is attached to rails). You set the bar so that you can grab it and hand from it and your back is just a couple inches off the ground.. You'll pull yourself up and have your chest touch the bar.. just like the ring rows. You can use either and over-hand or under-hand grip, in fact you can play around with the grips for kicks.

    Thanks for contributing. Great job!
