Go Fast!

I feel like we should take advantage of the empty campus this week. Seems like a waste not to. Any ideas?


20 minute tabata:

Run, bike, swim, row for 20 minutes with 20 seconds ON and 10 seconds off..

Record total distance. Go fast, go hard, have fun!

  1. What about a field trip to the Fitpark near the tennis courts? I'd love to get ideas about how to use the equipment there.

How about an obstacle type course using the structural components of the campus for the work out something Parkouresque, http://youtu.be/cNvJy0zoXOY, such as jumping up on walls like a box jump, climbing trees and doing a pull up, bear crawls up the Janss hill then sprint around the triangle, carry a sand bag up and down Janss, drop and rolls (cops and robbers) in the quad between Powell and Royce in between sets of sit ups, sprint to North Campus from there to do dips and push ups at a low wall in the Sculpture Garden, Burpies at Bunche, run back down CY Drive E, through Dickenson Court, left at Portola and down Bruin Walk to IM Field where the Big Tire will wait for us to roll it around or do sledgehammer swings :). Or something similar near SCRC with Fit Park, then we can all jump in the pool after!
