I thought about learning more about biochemistry. I started reading on the good ol' interwebs. I quickly stumbled upon this gem of a site and my desires to learn about biochem quickly faded.
From now on, instead of debating anything with any doctor or scientist, I will ask them what grade they earned in O-Chem and in Bio-Chem. If it's a B+ or above, I'll just graciously capitulate and walk away. Just kidding.
Fun stuff to do:
Tabata mountain climbers-
- 8 rounds of 20 seconds ON and 10 seconds of rest.
* Foul for dropping a knee to the ground before rest.
Work through all 8 sets and count all of the fouls. Keep a hollow position and try to keep your butt from boucing at ALL. Get the knees up under the chest and be fast. If you need to rest before the rest interval (avoid this) then hold a plank.
* Each foul is a 30 second wall-sit. So you sit with your back and head against a wall with nothing under your butt. Your thighs are parallel to the ground. If you rack up 4 fouls, that's 2 minutes. Enjoy!
